Quick Find:
Work With Your Local ABQ Neighborhood Association To Reduce DWI Death & Injury!
The DWI Resource Center has prepared localized maps of DWI offender residencies for neighborhood associations in Bernalillo
for the year 2004. These maps can be used to identify the number of DWI offenders in and around your neighborhood and help
you take action to reduce DWI death and injury.
In addition, the chart below contains links to locations of alcohol establishments in each community. We encourage each
neighborhood association to work with these local alcohol establishments and ask them to adopt both a zero tolerance policy
for sales of alcohol to minors, and responsible retailing practices to help reduce alcohol overservice to intoxicated individuals.
Finally, the chart below also contains as a list of companies in your neighborhood who work in industries considered
at high-risk for on- and off-the-job alcohol/drug abuse. We encourage businesses and neighborhood associations to work
together to implement a drug-free workplace program. In addition, encouraging alcohol establishments to have a drug-free
workplace programs can save not only lives but also improve their bottom line.
